Hey Mike, quick question.
For the majority of the shots you took at COC did you use a f/2.8 or f/4 lens?
Thanks

Hey, as long as you don't want 'super slow-mo', then that little canon camera should do the trick. It will shoot 60i, if you can handle footage correctly you can extract each frame and treat it as 60p footage, basically slow down up to 40% speed which equals a final rate of 24p. That combined with it's 24p (on 60i format) capability should do the trick and you'll have a super dialed video with clean footage, and considering you're super good at photography, cinematography should be a snap. I still like tape though, lol.

Ah ya the HF series is good. I forgot about them lol. Ya basically the HV, but with harddrives. Tapes are still better qual than harddrives though

Haha, I almost thought about messaging you to show you. Yes it's real! And fluid head! Um ya. I know you won't like this idea, but the new Canon t1i has amazing video. If you don't wanna get that, go for a Canon HV30. It's pretty much the best "consumer" camera on the market right now in the price range. Last I checked their about $900. Let me know if you have some more questions! -ep
